FX Back Office Alternative: FirmForge vs FX Back Office (2026)

FX Back Office alternative: FirmForge vs FX Back Office

FX Back Office, often shortened to FXBO, is a CRM and back-office system for brokerages and prop firms that connects to a trading platform you already run. FirmForge bundles a back office with its own trading engine, trade room and client portal. If you are choosing between them, the first question is whether you want to keep a separate trading platform.

What FX Back Office is

FX Back Office is a CRM and back-office provider for forex brokerages, based in Limassol, Cyprus, that claims 250+ clients and 15+ years in the market [1]. It states that it "is not a broker, does not offer trading services, execute trades, provide investment advice" [1].

Its products include a Back Office CRM, a Client Area portal, a mobile app for traders and a Partner Area for IBs with multi-level partnership programmes [1]. KYC and AML run through Shufti Pro and Sumsub, payments through 400+ PSP integrations, and marketing through 60+ automated emails, a loyalty programme and VOIP [1][3]. There is also a B2B CRM and a Service Desk product [1].

For prop firms, the Prop Trading CRM handles multi-stage challenges with "unlimited trading goals", applies real-time risk parameters that set an account to "read only" on failure, and manages profit-share payouts [3].

FXBO does not supply a trading terminal of its own. It integrates with MT4 and MT5, Match-Trader, cTrader, Devexperts, X Open Hub and Condor [1], so your total cost includes a platform licence from one of those vendors alongside the CRM fee. That combined cost, plus a separate onboarding fee, is the usual reason operators compare FXBO with all-in-one products.

FXBO lists three plans (as published on the FX Back Office site, October 2026) [2]:

Every plan carries a one-time onboarding fee, but the amount is not published [2]. A minimum term and a launch timeline are not stated either [2][3].

FirmForge prices in US dollars and has no onboarding or setup fee. The Custom plan starts from $400 a month, Growth is $799 and Professional is $1,499, with Enterprise quoted individually. That figure covers the trading platform as well as the back office, so there is no second licence to budget for. The FirmForge pricing page shows what each plan includes.

When FX Back Office is the better choice

When FirmForge fits better

FirmForge, like FXBO, is a software company and not a broker. Neither vendor removes the need for your own licensing and compliance work.

Switching from FX Back Office to FirmForge

  1. List what you use in FXBO today: PSPs, KYC provider, IB structure, marketing emails and reports. Mark which ones you cannot run without.
  2. Test the public demo against that list, looking at the back office and the trade room in particular.
  3. Register at app.firmforge.cfd and set up your platform type, brand and sender address.
  4. Create the DNS entries for my., admin. and trade. under your own domain.
  5. Recreate staff roles, desks and routing rules, then rebuild challenge plans if you run a prop firm.
  6. Turn on the IB/Affiliate Portal add-on if partners need their own area.
  7. Plan the exit from both FXBO and your current trading platform licence, and move client accounts over by an agreed date.
